With a fantastic selection of seasonal produce, fresh flowers, vintage clothing and handmade homewares, Winchester Market is the perfect place to shop locally while in the city. Come rain or shine, you can stop by and meet our traders, bring the family, enjoy a snack at one of the street food stalls and make a day of it this Autumn.

The Winchester Market takes place on Lower High Street and Middle Brook Street every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am – 5pm.

The Art & Design Market is the perfect please to indulge in some quality art and crafts from the artists and makers themselves. Choose from fine art, mixed media, graphics, glass jewellery, photography, textiles, cards, carvings, prints vintages clothes and much more.

The Art & Design Market takes place on The Broadway, Lower High Street and Middle Brook Street every third Sunday of the month from 9am to 5pm. Next date: 19 November 2023.

Hampshire Farmers’ Markets brings fabulous produce to Winchester from across the county each and every month. Showcasing the best of what Hampshire has to offer, all stallholders are the producers – small businesses based in rural areas growing and rearing their own to bring to customers. Where better to shop fresh, seasonally and locally?

The Winchester Farmers’ Market takes place on the High Street and Middle Brook Street every second and last Sunday of the month from 9am to 2pm. Next dates: 29 October, 12 November and 26 November 2023

🎄 Get ready for Winchester’s Christmas markets

Stepping into the Winter months, the Winchester Market will be held on additional days (Monday to Wednesday) on the run up to Christmas, commencing Monday 11 December up to and including Saturday 23 December 2023. Be sure to check also visit Winchester Cathedral’s world-famous Christmas Market, just a stone’s throw away from the High Street. It will be open daily from Friday 17 November 2023  to Thursday 21 December 2023.
