Discover markets in Winchester

The Winchester City Street Market will be held Thursday to Saturday until 31 November, with extended hours of 9am to 6pm commencing from 21 November. The market is located on the Lower High Street and Middle Brook Street and features a mix of stalls from local produce and artisan goods to fashion and homewares.  From 1 December to 24 December, the market will be held Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. During Christmas trading, you can look forward to even more festive gifts, collectibles and seasonal treats on offer!

The Antiques, Vintage, Retro & Collectables Market takes place every first Sunday of the month, 9am to 5pm. It is located on The Broadway, Lower High Street and Middle Brook Street. This is the perfect market for finding unique gifts, collectables and souvenirs, as well as genuine antiques, vintage fashion, vinyl records and books.

The Art & Design Market takes place every third Sunday of the month, 9am to 5pm. It is located on The Broadway, Lower High Street and Middle Brook Street. The market features a curated selection of original pieces from local artists and makers.

Hampshire Farmers’ Market
Held on the second and last Sunday in the month in in The Broadway / Lower High Street, this award-winning market showcases the best in local produce. From organic vegetables and fresh meats to artisanal cheeses and homemade preserves, it’s a food lover’s paradise. Over 30 to 40 stalls attend each market.

Alresford

There is a street market in Broad Street every Thursday morning and Continental Markets on some Saturdays and Sundays during the year between April and December. Alresford Country Market takes place at the Community Centre from 7.30 - 11.30 every Thursday.

The Hampshire Farmers’ Market is held on the first Saturday of the month at Alresford Watercress Line Car Park.

Bishop’s Waltham

The historic market town of Bishop’s Waltham hosts a weekly Country Market, every Friday at Jubilee Hall. Shop Home-cooked meals, cakes and savouries, homemade jams, chutneys and marmalades, local free range eggs and honey, plus a variety of crafts and homewares.

Wickham

Taste of Wickham, takes place on the Second Sunday of September is a celebration of everything that makes Wickham so special. The Square is closed to traffic and instead filled with stalls, a marquee, cookery demonstrations, kids crafts, a hug bouncy castle and live music.
