Celebrate Bonfire Night in the Winchester District

While the nights may be getting darker, you can enjoy the spark-tacular fireworks and bonfires set to light up Winchester’s skies this November. Find your local Bonfire Night celebrations here:

🎆 Winchester

Join Winchester’s biggest charity event, Winchester Bonfire & Fireworks on Saturday 4 November at North Walls. This year, Winchester Round Table are welcoming an expanded street food festival where you can warm up with some hot drinks and international cuisines. From 6pm, the torchlit procession will make its way from Winchester Guildhall up the High Street and across Jewry Street before heading to the firework and bonfire display. There, the bonfire will be lit at 7:15pm, with fireworks at 7:45pm. All proceeds from the event will be donated to a variety of charities across the city and local area. Purchase tickets here.

🎆 Hursley

Hursley Sports and Social Club is hosting A night of Fireworkson Friday 3 November. With gates opening at 6:00pm, you’ll have time to enjoy their food village which will be serving up a selection of burgers, pizza, hog roast, Clubhouse specials and more! There will also be face painters, glitter tattoos and light up novelties to purchase before the fireworks launch at 7:30pm. Tickets are available to purchase from the Club House office, Hursley Post Office or online here.

🎆 Alresford

Alresford Rotary returns for its 27th Bonfire and Fireworks Night on Friday 3 November, with proceeds from the event going to various charitable organisations. The celebrations will begin at 7:00pm, where the Torchlight Procession will begin at the top of Broad Street and finish at Arlebury Park. From here, the bonfire will be lit at 7:45pm fireworks at 8:00pm. Purchase tickets here.

🎆 Bishop’s Waltham

Friends of Bishops Waltham Junior School are hosting their annual Fireworks Night on Saturday 4 November at Hoe Road Recreation Ground. The event will help to raise money for Bishop’s Waltham Junior School and local groups such as the scouts, guides and cadets. So, have fun and help the community with a night of fairground rides, refreshments, hot food, and fireworks show. Gates open at 6:00pm. Purchase tickets here.
