Winchester Visitor Information Centre looks forward to welcoming you.

Our cheerful team of knowledgeable staff can provide help and advice on a wide range of subjects, including:

The centre is also a beautiful shop showcasing some of Winchester’s finest local produce from our districts award-winning independent producers and makers.

You can now purchase our Christmas Gift packages, either for Click & Collect or Home Delivery by visiting our online shop HERE.  

 

The Centre and Shop is open Monday to Saturday: 10am – 5pm

The centre is located on the ground floor of Winchester Guildhall, just a short walk from King Alfred’s statue.

Whatever your reason for visiting the city, please be sure to pop into the visitor information centre to make the most out of your visit to our City.

The Winchester Visitor Information Centre is Good to Go.

The layout of the VIC has been changed to incorporate a one way system to allow visitors to view the local produce, gifts and souvenirs and seek assistance from the friendly VIC team safely. As you enter a hand sanitising station is available, please help yourself. Access to the Guildhall is not available through the VIC at the moment. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Please note that it is not possible to store luggage anywhere in Winchester. The nearest place is Southampton Airport.
