Inspired by the 13th century journeys of King John from the Odiham Castle, this long-distance walking route connects Windsor Great Park to The Great Hall in Winchester, passing past Ascot, the Blackwater Valley, Basingstoke canal and the River Itchen.
The Winchester section takes in The Great Hall, Winchester Cathedral, City Mill and the Weirs before leaving the city along the Itchen. The path then goes through Itchen Abbas before heading north.
