Winchester College Tours

Winchester College is one of the oldest schools in the country and still occupies its original medieval buildings.

Tours of the College’s original 14th-century campus run daily, focusing on the school’s history and medieval architecture.

Highlights of the tour usually include the College’s medieval Chamber Court, the 14th-century Gothic chapel, College Hall, the medieval Cloisters, and the 17th-century redbrick schoolroom.

TOUR TIMES

College tours last for one hour and run every afternoon. From 17 November – 4 January inclusive, College tours will run at the earlier times of 1.45pm and 3.00pm, to accommodate the reduced daylight hours. The College will close from 24 December – 1 January inclusive. On 5 January, our usual tour times of 2.15pm and 3.30pm will resume.
