Summer Holidays: Collage your own album cover

Join us this summer for a creative workshop inspired by the Summer Reading Challenge: Read to the Beat, where stories and music collide. Perfect for kids who like to cut, stick and experiment with ideas.

Ever imagined your own album cover? In this session, children will design a bold, eye-catching record sleeve using collage techniques. We’ll use books, paper, magazines, stickers and more to layer up images, textures and colours.

You might create something dreamy, funny, mysterious or completely abstract. Add a band name, a title, or keep it open-ended. It’s your design, your style.

We’ll explore layout, composition and how to build a strong visual look, while keeping things relaxed and fun. By the end, you’ll have your own “album cover” ready to take home and show off.
