In this exclusive session you will examine a range of objects from the Jane Austen’s House museum collection, under the guidance of their Collections team.
This special event will explore objects relating to Jane Austen’s perfect summer novel, Emma, including a rare first edition of the novel, original illustrations, costume designs and more!
This event will be led by an expert on the collection who will guide you through the objects’ histories, their significance and how they care for them.
The group will be kept small, so there will be plenty of opportunities to see objects up close, ask questions and discuss as you go along.
