Light of the World

This breathtaking three-night event on 2, 3 & 4 February (5:30pm - 8:30pm) will transform St Peter’s Church into a beacon of beauty, welcome, and wonder.

As Candlemas marks the start of the churches 100th year, everyone is invited - of all faiths and none - to experience the Church in a whole new light. Wander through stunning illuminations inside and out, enjoy uplifting live music, pause for prayer and reflection, and share in the warmth of community hospitality. Learn more about St Peter's rich heritage and the role the church has played in Winchester's local community. This is more than an event - it’s an invitation to encounter St Peter’s Church as 'A Place for All', filled with light, hope and joy.

After visiting the Church refreshments are available in the Parish Centre, adjacent to the Church. Entry is FREE (donations welcome).
