Unleash your artistic side at our craft station, where you can decorate a foam khukuri and learn all about this iconic Gurkha tool and the many ways it has been used.

Set off on the family trail to uncover even more stories from the exciting temporary exhibition – perfect for curious explorers of all ages.  Discover more about the exciting redevelopment of The Gurkha Museum, known by its Nepali name, Project Kaida.

Little ones can also dive deeper into the experience with the dress-up station, trying on real Gurkha uniforms for unforgettable photographic moments.

About the activity: 

• Family drop-in sessions run from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs with no booking required.
• Designed for children aged between 4 and 10 years old.
• All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• FREE family activity day; voluntary donations welcome.
