About COWfest
This page will be updated with full programme details and booking information as soon as it's announced.
COWfest (Children of Winchester festival), is an annual festival where you can expect a wide range of FREE activities for children of all ages. With a variety of engaging activities across the city, the festival hub will be at The Arc on Jewry Street, featuring an array of free events for children of all ages.
Across the weekend at The Arc, families can enjoy Relax Kids Winchester with Jules for ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 10, Moo Music for toddlers, and Comedy 4 Kids in the Performance Hall. Creative drop in activities include junk modelling and paper crafts with Mimosa Montessori, tote bag printing with Berkshire Print Makers, and crafts with both The Arc and Winchester Library. Music sessions with Winnall Rock School run across Saturday, while Sunday features Jiggy Wrigglers for babies and young children and inclusive sports sessions with District Sports.
Alongside the programme at The Arc, COWfest 2026 will also take place in venues across Winchester, with partner organisations offering family friendly performances, workshops and activities throughout the city. Full details of the wider programme will be announced closer to the festival.
COWfest is designed to be welcoming and accessible, celebrating creativity, play and community. With most activities free and suitable for a range of ages, COWfest 2026 offers families a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a vibrant weekend together in Winchester.
