Army Animals Trail

Lots of animals are connected to the Army – horses were used to pull supplies or were ridden, and dogs were a common mascot. Badges, buttons, buckles and medals might all have animals on, including lions and unicorns. Find out more at the museum this summer by taking on our Army Animals trail. Pick up a FREE trail sheet at the front desk and find the animals in the museum. For older explorers there are more challenging challenges on the back, and everyone who takes part gets an Army dog tag to take home.

PLUS – decorate a piece of fabric bunting and it will be on display in the museum in November.
