See a concert under the sun
This Valentine's Day, Winchester Cathedral will be aglow with the sun, song and super romantic vibes. At Sun Love, you can listen to the spinetingling sounds of the world-renowned London Community Gospel Choir, all while you take in the spectacular 'Helios' art installation by Luke Jerram. Doors open at 7pm, and tickets start at £16.25.

Join Berkshire Printmakers at The Arc for the perfect Valentine's (or galentine's) activity! Under their expert guidance, you'll learn how to use screen-printing techniques to design and assemble your very own lampshade. All materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your creativity!

Have dinner on a vintage steam train
All aboard The Watercress Bell, a beautifully-restored steam train offering a fine dining experience this Valentine's Day! Take a cocktail making masterclass
Did you know that the world-famous Bombay Sapphire Gin is distilled just 15 miles from Winchester? Laverstoke Mill is home to the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. During their Gin Cocktail Masterclass, you can take a your of the distillery, including the iconic glasshouse, followed by a masterclass on creating delicious gin cocktails.

Go to a military-themed wine tasting
After dark at the Royal Logistic Corps Museum, join Museum Director Simon and a Caviste wine expert as they take you on a tour of wines from around the world and the military medals from the same regions. Combine your love of wine and military history in this special date night experience.

Experience a live film score
Watch The Lodger, a 1927 Hitchcock silent thriller, set to a live score by Minima. The story follows a mysterious new lodger who arrives at the home of Mr and Mrs Bunting. Meanwhile, London is being terrorised by a Jack the Ripper-style murderer. Watch the mystery unfold and suspense build with the help of immersive instrumentation.

Spend an evening under the stars
As part of the South Downs National Park anniversary Dark Skies Festival, Gilbert White's House will be welcoming Steve Broadbent from the Hampshire Astronomical Group to give a fascinating insight into the night sky using Stallarium software. Cloudy or clear, you will be able to sit back enjoy an out-of-this-world evening under the stars.

Step into the mind of an artist
Discover the world of Vincent van Gogh in this multisensory exhibition at Winchester Science Centre. In the Planetarium, be transported into the paintings of van Gogh, and learn about the hidden science behind his works. After, explore the Sunflower Room - the perfect place to capture a photo of your evening.
