The Cart & Horses in Kingsworthy are running a macrame wreath workshop on 25 November, if you fancy creating something a little bit different this Christmas.

Winchester Royal Hotel are holding Craft Your Own Christmas Wreath sessions on 29 November and 4 December.

Head to Lower Norton Flower Farm just outside Winchester for a luxury wreath-making workshop on 28 and 29 November and 5 and 6 December.

The Yard is hosting Christmas Wreath Making with Stem and Green on 27 November.

Worthy Earth are holding two Christmas wreath workshops on 2 December, using a willow base with Worthy Earth dried flowers, herbs and foliage

For an evening making festive wreaths and wine tasting, book onto The Grange Winery's evening with Stem and Green on 5 December.

You can take pottery and tufting workshops at Design Junction all year round, making mugs, plates, coasters, candleholders and more. You can also book sessions here to paint pre-made pieces which would make lovely personal gifts.

Cobbs Farm Shop are hosting a Festive Jewellery ‘Moves’ Workshop on 19 November where qualified jeweller Fiona will guide participants to make silver bangles or silver stacking rings.

Visit The Colour Factory for a festive carving workshop on 3 December, to solder a copper bauble on 6 December or to learn how to make festive earrings on December 10.

Head to The Town House in Alresford on 3 December for a 'paint your own baubles' evening from 7pm. Tickets include a bauble to paint and pizza to fuel your creativity.

Crafting at Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market

Winchester Cathedral's Christmas Market is recognised as one of the best in Europe and is open 21 November-  22 December 2025.

Alongside the market, the Undercroft is often bustling with various festive workshops, from candle-making to silversmithing and painting. This year you can book onto a copper Christmas decoration workshop on 6 December or a Christmas glass-fusing class, where you can make a tealight holder or hanging decorations, on 2, 3, 9, 11 or 17 December. There's also a Christmas napkin ring workshop on 11, 15 and 18 December, where you'll be shown how to craft pretty napkin rings out of willow and dried flowers.
