About Winchester's Cultural Collective
The Cultural Collective is a strategic partnership that brings together the stakeholders with an ability to influence and drive the successful delivery of the Winchester District Cultural Strategy. The collective members provide strategic leadership and direction that enables successful implementation of the cultural strategy, which increases economic success, prosperity and opportunity for the citizens of the Winchester district.
Alongside the collective, over 100 individuals working within or alongside the cultural sector helped inform the strategy, and over 500 residents have contributed their thoughts on what culture and creativity mean to them. Arts Council England have also participated in the development and implementation of the Winchester District Cultural Strategy.
Terms of Reference
The Cultural Collective members have agreed to work together to accomplish the aims and ambitions of the Winchester District Cultural Strategy. Members have agreed to a Terms of Reference which sets out how members will work together in partnership.
Progress reports
The co-created Winchester District Cultural Strategy was published in March 2024, and two years on, energy has been galvanised and amazing, creative, dynamic things have happened. Partnerships have formed and grown, funding has been secured, opportunities have been seized and the sector has connected in powerful ways. Read our end of year one report and end of year two report.
