The Rite of Spring: An Evening with Seeta Patel Dance

Experience the rhythm. Witness the ritual. Discover Seeta Patel Dance.

In this powerful triple bill, internationally acclaimed choreographer Seeta Patel invites you to experience dance at its most visceral, spiritual and electrifying.

At the heart of the evening is her Olivier Award nominated The Rite of Spring, a bold reimagining of Igor Stravinsky's iconic score through the lens of Bharatanatyam.  Patel transforms this legendary work into something entirely new: a fusion of Indian classical dance and Western orchestral music that is "vibrant, bold, exciting". Performed by an exquisite ensemble of Bharatanatyam dancers, this is a Rite of Spring that pulses with collective energy, ritual and renewal, a spiritual reimagining.

The evening concludes with an intimate Q&A, offering a rare opportunity to step inside the creative mind of Seeta Patel herself, to uncover the inspirations, challenges and lived experiences behind her work.
