A unique opportunity to witness the ancient art of calligraphy in action, led by the Cathedral Scribes – the only group of its kind based in any English cathedral.

Watch the Scribes at work as they demonstrate their incredible skills, bringing words to life with beauty and precision. You’ll also see stunning examples of their work on display, including exquisite pieces featuring gold leaf. Visitors of all ages are invited to try their hand at calligraphy and create a piece of history for themselves. This event is family-friendly, with creative activities that children can enjoy too.
