About Page to Stage: Post-Show Discussion with playwright Beckis Cooper

After the second performance of her play 'From Chawton' , join actor and playwright Beckis Cooper for a lively post-show discussion.

Beckis will share her creative process, inspiration and influences as well as discussing her favourite characters, scenes and speeches. She’d love to hear your feedback too, and generally chat about all things Austen!

Beckis Cooper, an actress and writer making exciting work from England’s finest writers. Her ‘remarkable’ play Unversed took venues by storm last year including Shakespeare’s Birthplace; Chawton House; Lamport Hall. Other work includes an all-female Macbeth for the Tabard Theatre and Grace Notes for The Old Red Lion/King’s Head and Edinburgh Fringe. Beckis trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and The Drama Studio, following a degree in Literature from The University of Oxford and is represented by Macfarlane Chard Associates.
