Cosmic Christmas

Enter a world of festive wonder at Winchester Science Centre this December, where Christmas wishes spark scientific discoveries.

Join Aster the Elf for a magical Christmas Planetarium adventure. Together, you'll journey through space, exploring Aster’s Christmas wishes and helping her track down the Christmas Tree Cluster, a real collection of stars that looks just like a festive fir tree!

The festive adventure continues with a special meeting with Santa where you will enjoy an enchanting Christmas story. Then, send your own wishes to the stars at the Wish Post!

Be amazed by live science demonstrations as you discover how Santa's sleigh can travel so fast, see what happens when something extremely cold meets something hot, and uncover the science behind the spectacular colours of fireworks. Along the way, enjoy hands-on exhibits and seasonal magic throughout the Science Centre.
