About Children’s Winchester History guided walking tour

Step into the past on a fun and fascinating walking tour, especially for children during the May half-term school holiday. Explore ancient lanes, hear exciting accounts, and discover how people lived long ago. From the Romans and King Alfred the Great to everyday peasants, Winchester’s streets come alive through stories, questions and surprises along the way. Perfect for curious young minds and families. This gentle adventure makes learning enjoyable, memorable, and will fuel the imagination. The tour will last 60 minutes and start at Winchester's Visitor Information Centre.

Suitable for: ages 7+ and their grown ups
