A large recreation ground near Winchester city centre, River Park (formerly North Walls Recreation Ground) is an open green space for picnics, walks and playing sports. A popular spot to feed ducks, the park can be a place to spot other wildlife too, being beside the Winnall Moors Nature Reserve with chalk streams running through it. You'll also find a large children's play area, a skate park, tennis courts and bowls clubs. Winchester Parkrun and Junior Parkrun takes place in River Park every weekend.
