Within our West Downs Quarter, you will find our cutting-edge West Downs Centre which can host multiple event styles and has one of the best landscape views of Winchester.

Neighbouring the Centre is the University of Winchester Business School, originally built as an 18th century boys boarding school. In more recent times the building has become an exceptionally modern and light facility reflecting on its Victorian heritage. Prefect for smaller conferences and weddings for up to 100 people.

Alternatively, you may wish to visit our King Alfred Quarter which offers a diverse combination of traditional and contemporary architecture. The quarter boasts a range of conference and networking rooms available for small to large bookings, including our award-winning Stripe Complex.

The University of Winchester’s incredible facilities are only a short 10-minute walk from the historic city centre, including proximity to Winchester train station which has direct lines to central London.

The campus is five minutes away from junction 11 of the M3, with taxi journeys only a few minutes away from Winchester train station. Direct lines to London Waterloo are run twice hourly, making Winchester the perfect commuter location.

The University of Winchester is a green campus with a commitment to making a positive environmental impact in an effort to contribute to a sustainable future. As result parking has been reduced on site, we encourage guests to use the local Park & Ride system or alternative public transport to travel to the University.
