Join The Gurkha Museum for a curry and a Question and Answer session with the author to learn about her inspirations behind the story.

As the Second World War sweeps the globe, follow 18-year-old Jim Chance into the jungles of Burma. Meet Thaman, a Gurkha soldier, and join the men in a fight for survival like no other. 18:00 – Enjoy a drink on arrival in the grand McDonald Gallery.

18:30 – Listen to a talk from the author in the library including an extract from the book.

19:15 – Sit down with the author for an authentic Gurkha curry buffet, dessert and coffee whilst hearing of the true Gurkha stories that the book is based on from Museum staff.

20:15 – Opportunity to have your copy of The Jungle War (included in the ticket price) signed by the author.
