The Writers’ Weekend is a residential conference for emerging writers, working in all genres and at all levels. Attendees participate in workshops to improve their writing, informative talks, and one-to-one appointments with top literary agents to pitch their manuscripts. The weekend is full of opportunities to network with fellow writers, published authors, agents and editors, attend panels and share your writing at open mics to a supportive and friendly crowd. Keynote Speakers for 2020 are best-selling authors Eoin Colfer (author of the Artemis Fowl series) and Lissa Evans (author of adult and children’s books).

The aim of the weekend is to help you achieve your writing goals, whether to improve your writing or to get published. The Weekend begins on Friday evening and you can attend for one day or the whole weekend. We also offer a ‘Virtual’ package for those that are unable to attend the Weekend in person. In addition to the Weekend, we also run four writing competitions, which open in January 2020.

The full programme will be available and booking opens in March, 2020 on our website: www.writersweekend.uk
