In honour of the bicentenary anniversary of John Keats’s famous sojourn in Winchester, the University of Winchester is staging ‘Two Hundred Years of Autumn’, a celebration of Keats as part of the Winchester city’s Keats in Winchester programme of events.

In collaboration with Hampshire Writers’ Society, Hampshire Cultural Trust, Winchester Poetry Festival, Winchester Writers’ Festival and TRW Youth Theatre, as well as friends from the Keats Foundation and the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association, the show will include performances of Keats’s work and of the winning entries in regional Keatsian writing competitions, as well as music, song and specially written scenes from Keats’s life adapted from his correspondence.

The show will also feature special performances from Blue Apple Theatre, Storm Cloud Theatre and the Bard Buskers. Ticket proceeds are going to Live Theatre Winchester Trust.
