The Salon this time features three established LGBT authors who will be giving invigorating readings from their novels, as well as giving insight into their experience being LGBT in Britain today.
Paul Burston is the author of six novels including the WH Smith bestseller The Black Path. He is the curator and host of award-winning literary salon Polari at London’s Southbank Centre, and founder of The Polari First Book Prize for new LGBT+ writing and The Polari Prize for established writers.
VG Lee is the critically-acclaimed author of five novels and two collections of short stories. She was nominated for a Stonewall Award and won the Ultimate Planet Award for Best Established Author.
Karen McLeod is a published author and professional comic writer and performer. Her debut novel, In Search of the Missing Eyelash won a Betty Trask award and was translated into four foreign languages.

The Winchester Discovery Centre is served by a variety of local buses which stop outside the library on Jewry Street, including the 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, X24/25/26, 68, 86, 95/95A/96/96A, and 99/X99 which all stop outside the main entrance.
