200 years ago, John Keats was inspired to write his best-loved poem ‘To Autumn’ during a visit to Winchester. Now you can be inspired by Keats!

You are invited to a free art workshop celebrating “The Seasons in Hampshire”. Working with an artist from The Colour Factory, you will get to create your own Keats-inspired artwork in one of three workshops.

Ages 4 – 7
10am – 11am
‘Colour & Collage’ – Learn how to be a real artist and paint a colourful still life using patterned stencils and collaged fruits.

Ages 8 – 11
11.30am – 1pm
‘Mixed Media Montage’ – Come and discover the art of Mixed Media painting using a whole range of artists materials and techniques. Create a colourful montage based around Keats and the seasons in Hampshire.

Ages 12 – 16
2pm – 3.30pm
‘Mixed Media Montage’ – Come and discover the art of Mixed Media painting using a whole range of artists materials and techniques. Create a colourful montage based around Keats and the seasons in Hampshire.

All workshops take place in the Learning Rooms at Winchester Discovery Centre. Please note that in the workshop for 4-7 year olds all children must be accompanied by an adult. Places are free, but pre-booking is necessary as places are limited.
