Hampshire Fare was established in 1991 by a small group of food producers who wanted to actively promote the benefits of buying local food, drink and crafts.
Membership of Hampshire Fare currently stands at 400 local food, drink and craft businesses. Member businesses range from pig farmers and wine makers to farm shops, pubs, restaurants and hotels. Any business that produces, sells or serves local produce from Hampshire is entitled to join Hampshire Fare.
Popular with residents and visitors to the county, the month-long festival is a chance to explore what goes on behind the scenes to grow, rear and serve some of the county’s tastiest produce. Wander through vines, explore the lavender fields, tour breweries and get hands on in the kitchen
Over 60 events will take place at farms, pubs, hotels and restaurants across Hampshire. From pop-up dining to cookery demonstrations there is some for all tastes and budgets.
Details of all events will be available on the Hampshire Fare website from the end of May. Collect a free event programme from the end of May in local tourist offices, pubs, restaurants, hotels and farm shops.
