Immerse your family in dinosaur exploration this Christmas at Winchester Science Centre and meet Father Christmas! Featuring imaginative storytelling and activities brought to you by the owners of popular children’s book series The World of Dinosaur Roar!
Take part in a huge dino dig to find creatures from the past, handle real and replica fossils, and meet Trixie the baby triceratops and her friendly rangers. This fun and extensive dino theme is in addition to brilliant hands-on science, the interactive space zone Explorer:Space, dinosaur-themed live science shows and a Christmas planetarium show. A Father Christmas grotto will be available.
2 wheelchairs are available for visitors’ use and have 4 sensory backpacks available for children with sensory sensitivities.

Winchester Science Centre is just off a main road (Alresford Road), about 3 miles from Winchester City Centre, with easy access from all major routes without entering the city.
The No. 64 bus running between Winchester and Alresford passes within 300 metres of the Science Centre (at the bottom of Morn Hill) The service is half hourly Monday to Saturday and 2 hourly on Sundays
