This ‘steam’ packed three day event is a chance to see and ride behind the home-fleet locomotives. It will be one of the last chances to see 9F 92212 (their youngest steam loco built in 1959, 60 this year), running alongside newly restored Urie S15 506 (currently their oldest running loco, built in 1920, she is 99 years old). Ride behind their newly repainted Schools Class 30925 “Cheltenham”.

Enjoy behind the scene tours throughout Ropley workshop and yard and get up close and explore their locomotives under restoration. The Real Ale bar will be available on one of the trains each day and the ‘Queen Mary’ brake van will be available for rides on the freight train.
