July 20, 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of NASA’s 1969 Apollo 11 lunar mission, and the first time humans landed on the Moon. Celebrate this momentous achievement at this special After Dark, which includes a virtual Moon landing at 21:17 in the newly upgraded planetarium, the exact moment the Apollo astronauts touched down.

The evening includes new Planetarium film show CAPCOM GO! at 19:17, exactly two hours prior to Apollo 11 touch down. This immersive fulldome documentary showcases the achievements of the Apollo project with stunning graphics.
At 21:00 experienced presenters will take you on a live virtual space flight, which will include a Moon landing at 21:17, exactly 50 years after Apollo 11.
