A festival at the heart of the city

This really is a festival made by the people, for the people. Winchestival are lucky to work with and receive support from some fantastic local sponsors and many of the festival’s suppliers and partners are from Winchester and surrounding areas. Whether you live in the local area, or are visiting from further afield, this event promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The beauty of Winchestival is that it is located right in the heart of the city. The festival grounds, North Walls Recreation Ground, is only a stone’s throw away from the High Street itself. If you’re driving your car, hopping on a bus or train or are lucky enough to live within walking distance of this beautiful city, you can reach the festival from the city centre in a matter of minutes. How handy is that?

Milton and Zoe have a reputation for humouring audiences far and wide and have both appeared on a range of popular TV and radio shows including Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo. Chuckle away to Phoenix Nights’ fabulous Clinton Baptiste, who’ll also be taking to the stage and doing his thing.

Food and drink

One of the things that Winchestival goers rave about every year is the food and drink. And, with a show-stopping combination of variety, quality and mouth-watering flavours, it’s no wonder. The festival is as much a celebration of food and drink as it is music and comedy, and this year, Winchestival have brought in some of the best street food vendors in the UK to celebrate the diversity of flavours within British food culture.
