Discover Winchester’s secrets with a guided tour of the city
Winchester is a district steeped in history and brimming with secrets waiting to be uncovered. You can now rediscover England’s Ancient Capital with the Winchester Tourist Guides as their guided tours of the city resume.

Each tour is limited to a maximum of six people until Monday 17 May when 12 people can enjoy the tour (children are included within this number) – why not get a group together and get better acquainted with the city. All tours start at 11am and will initially run on Fridays and Saturdays, but will run daily from Monday 17 May. Book your tickets here.
Winchester’s official tourist guides have been guiding in Winchester for more than 30 years and share an enthusiasm for their city and a desire to bring it alive for both visitors and residents alike.

All tours start from the Winchester Visitor Information Centre – the perfect place to treat yourself to some local produce or plan the rest of your visit to Winchester.The visitor information centre has expanded their retail range and are delighted to be working with some talented new suppliers including Illustrations by Jonathan Chapman, 2Spot Ceramics, Jewellery by Caz Wade and gifts by O What a Feeling.
You can also pick up some old favourites including Hill Farm juices, Meon Valley cider, ales from Red Cat Brewing, Winchester Distillery gins, Chalice Mead, Charlotte Brown handmade preserves and Mrs Bee’s honey – there is so much to choose from and more additions to come.
