The Winchester Treasure Hunt Trail is a great thing do when visiting Winchester with the best thing being that anyone aged between 6 & 106 can get involved.

Keep your eyes peeled when exploring Winchester on this 1.6 mile Trail route as you’ll be hunting for the answers to the sneaky clues! You’ll gather this information from interesting and quirky permanent features found around the city, so you’ll certainly learn a thing or two about the area.

The Winchester Treasure Hunt Trail starts at the Guildhall and follows a circular route along the riverbank. The route then leads you past Wolvesey Castle and Winchester College and then through the grounds of the magnificent Cathedral, before returning to your starting point.

Before you visit Winchester make sure you grab your Trail booklet from the Treasure Trails website. Trails can be purchased, downloaded and printed by you for £6.99. Or you’ve got the option to get a copy posted. One Trail booklet can be shared between 4-5 people making it a great value way to explore Winchester.
