Winchester's location just an hour away from London makes it a great destination to hold your meeting or event.

By road
Winchester is situated just off junctions 9,10 and 11 of the M3 and can be accessed by the A34 if travelling from the North.

By rail
Winchester is on the main railway line from London Waterloo, with direct trains running to Bournemouth, Weymouth, Portsmouth and London. Cross Country services also allow visitors and delegates to reach the city from further afield such as Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.

By air
Southampton International airport is just 12 miles from Winchester, with trains running directly from the airport to Winchester. London Heathrow is just an hour away and London Gatwick is 90 minutes away.

By coach
National Express run regular services from Heathrow airport and other cities across the country to allow you to arrive in comfort for your event.

If you decide to book your conference at a venue that does not offer accommodation, Winchester's top class hotels and B&B's are not far away. If you are looking to accommodate all your delegates in one place the hotels within the area have the answer. For delegates wishing to stay in somewhere slightly smaller our bed and breakfast establishments will be only too happy to accommodate you.

Winchester has some great ideas for team building activities or plenty of opportunities for that something different to break up a meeting. Hampshire’s excellent transport links make it extremely accessible from other parts of the country. Within easy commuting distance of London, the region benefits from excellent rail networks, motorways, busy commercial ports and two airports. It is also the only place in the country accessible to the Isle of Wight by ferry.
