Station Road, Alresford

A weekend of summer fun with local food and crafts!

Part of the Hampshire Food Festival throughout July, this fantastic new summer event brings together local food producers, the local countryside and our story as a local goods line! With local food, drink and crafts at Ropley station, facepainting for everyone and Morris dancing throughout the day! Find out about the diverse countryside around us here on the edge of the South Downs National Park and where our food comes from, including the watercress we famously carried to London which is still grown here in Alresford. We will be running our magnificent goods train along the line as well, showing all the different types of goods wagons that were used for transporting everything from coal to cows!
