Who's Your Hero?

We'd like to bring Winchester's Year of Heroes bang up to date by asking you to send in suggestions of your modern-day Winchester Hero. He or she could be from anywhere in the district - or indeed, just associated with the district on account of something special that they have done. It could be Ron Purse, the colourful character with his pram who sadly died last year, or it could be actor Colin Firth whose family home is in the district. And you can take the definition of heroism as broadly as you like.
