From the middle of the 18th Century, the Swan was the principal coaching inn of the town, this Grade II listed building now offers 23 well appointed ensuite bedrooms. With all the facilities you would expect we look forward to providing you with a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Our Accommodation:
Standard rooms are in the main hotel building with a more traditional feel whilst the deluxe rooms are in the newer annexe.
All standard rooms have ensuite bathrooms, colour TV, direct dial telephones and tea & coffee making facilities.
Deluxe rooms are large and spacious with ensuite bathroom, colour television, hairdryers and trouser press. A bridal/executive suite is also available which includes a four-poster bed.
The Restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, morning & afternoon tea, lunches & dinner. Opening Times 7.30 am to 9.30pm. A carvery is available on a Sunday Lunchtime.
Conference/Private Party Facilities
The Swan Hotel has a unique function room called The Undercroft which is situated at the rear of the hotel. Originally, it was an old crypt dating back 500 years. In recent years it has been renovated to provide a room to seat up to 100 people with its own separate bar.
The front dining room, The Cygnet Room can seat up to 35 people.
Both these rooms are perfect venues for conferences, lunches, parties, and reunions. Open every day.

From Winchester take A31 to Alresford, a distance of approximately 6 miles. Join the B3047 into Alresford town centre, entering the town on West Street. The hotel is on the right hand side.
Stagecoach bus service 64 or 67 operates from Winchester to Alresford. The bus stops outside the Hotel.
Winchester Railway Station - 7 miles. Alton Railway Station - 10miles.
