St Margaret's is a charming Victorian brick-and-flint house ideally situated in a quiet street in an old part of the town near the Cathedral, Winchester College and a few minutes' walk from the centre.
The bedrooms are light and comfortable with garden views, and have colour televisions and tea/coffee facilities.
Delicious English breakfasts are provided; special diets can be catered for on request. Nice cats, books and music.

From M3 junction 11, drive towards City centre along St Cross Road as far as the zebra crossing, turn right into St Michael's Road. St Margaret's is the second house on the left, with a blue front door.
From City centre take Southgate Street / St Cross Road. Continue as far as second zebra crossing. Turn left onto St Michael's Road. Second house on left with blue front door. Please note: not St Michael's Gardens.
Bus No.1 (Stagecoach) from the bus station, which is opposite the Tourist Information Centre, every 15 minutes. Leave bus at Romans Road and walk back short distance to St Michael's Road, which is by the zebra crossing.
Buses No. 49a or 69 also go down Southgate Street but less frequently.
