Overton itself is set in the centre of Hampshire in countryside designated as an area of outstanding beauty. Ideal for walking, hiking and horse riding - Wayfarers Walk and Watership Down are just a few miles to the north. Jane Austen was born in Steventon just over 3 miles away.
Mallards is an ideal base to explore the North Wessex Downs with good public transportation to Winchester or take the train to London, Salisbury and Exeter.

Mallards is located to the right of the converted Cornstore in Trims Court off Overton High Street (between Turners Butchers and Village Bakery) on the B3400 (Basingstoke to Whitchurch Road).
Overton High Street is served by Stagecoach buses (76 & 86) running between Winchester, Andover and Basingstoke. Mainline service between London Waterloo, Basingstoke and Salisbury. Overton Southwest train station 1km.
