Dating from around 1450, Embessy Cottage is believed to be the oldest cottage in Twyford, just 5 minutes drive from Winchester. Heavily beamed and filled with character and charm, the cottage is comfortably furnished, enjoys a peaceful setting with a sheltered south facing garden and off-street parking.
The accommodation is light and comfortable with a spacious sitting room, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a double bedroom, bathroom and twin room which has full-sized bunk beds. The kitchen and bathroom have been newly refurbished in January 2006. Rental prices are inclusive of all electricity, gas, bed linen and towels. The cottage has gas fired central heating.
Village shop and pubs nearby. Bus or train links to Winchester.
Suitable for 4 plus a cot.

Road Directions
M3 Southbound. Exit at junction 11. Turn left at traffic lights onto B3335 to Twyford. At traffic lights in village turn right. Queen Street is on the left. Cottage on right hand side about half way along street after sharp left hand bend.
Public Transport Directions
Bus stops at end of Queens Street - next to village shop - buses to Eastleigh.
Shawford train station is about a five minutes walk.
Southampton airport is approx a ten minute drive.
Porstsmouth ferries to France - 1.5 hour drive.
