This year the Winchester Festival opens with Berlioz’ spectacular Te Deum in the Cathedral, the curtain-raiser to ten days of concerts that will take us from Monteverdi and Bach, Ravel and Stravinsky to Albeniz and Sculthorpe, with chamber and choral music, jazz and solo recitals in beautiful venues across the city.
Alongside the concerts, books and visual delights of galleries across the city, you can sing with John Rutter, dance where Jane Austen danced, do the Time Warp with the Rocky Horror Picture Show and listen to stories being weaved in the City Museum.
