Making Merry Open Studios

Friday 21 - Sunday 30 November

Linda Miller textileTake the strain out of Christmas shopping this year by visiting the many galleries, studios and artists' homes in and around Winchester. Surprise your loved ones with something different ...

Admission is FREE

Making Merry presents a fantastic opportunity to discover the wealth of artists and craftspeople living and working in Winchester and the picturesque surrounding villages. This year the Christmas shopping extravaganza has been extended to 10 days, giving the discerning shopper even more time to visit artists' homes and studios for inspirational Christmas gift ideas, to watch demonstrations, or simply chat about technique.

Another chance to see the exquisite array of art and craft is on offer at the City Space exhibition, which is running from Saturday 22 November to Sunday 4 January. Look for artists displaying the City Space symbol to see who will be showing their work.

Winchester's latest exhibition venue is housed within the Discovery Centre, where another craft exhibition - Crafted - will be running from 29 November to 18 January. Click here for more details.
