21st March - Stephen Preston (baroque flute)
Stephen is a founder member of many of the leading period instrument groups and has recorded as a soloist with, amongst others, Trevor Pinnock, The English Concert and the Academy of Ancient Music. He lectures, teaches and coaches at some of Britain's leading music academies, the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music, Trinity College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as giving regular master classes in the United States.

2nd May - Lynda Sayce
With over 100 recordings to her name, Lynda Sayce is one of Britain's best known lutenists. She has broadcast extensively on radio and TV and is principal lutenist with the King's Consort, the Musicians of the Globe, the New London Consort and Ex Cathedra. She is also director of the lute ensemble Chordophony, whose repertory and instrumentarium is based exclusively on her research. Lynda has written for Early Music and the New Grove Dictionary of Music and holds a
PH.D for her research on the history of the theorbo, which is to be published shortly.

23rd May - Philip Salmon (tenor)
Philip Salmon has sung as a soloist all over the world, including engagements with the Royal Opera, Scottish Opera, Opéra de Marseille, Opera North, New York Opera, and most of the major British Orchestras. He has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, Hyperion and Philips to great critical acclaim.

20th June - Eleanor Harrison (baroque violin)
Eleanor works with some of the finest period orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Florilegium. She was a postgraduate scholar at the Royal Academy of Music where she later held a Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship. She has performed several times on BBC Radio 3 as a chamber musician and soloist. She will be performing music by Corelli, Castello, Bach and Biber.
