Motorhome and Campervan Parking
Motorhomes, caravans and trailers unable to fit within standard marked parking bays, may park in the coach park in Worthy Lane. There is also designated parking for motor homes in the St Catherine's Park & Ride site. Please click here for more information on parking in Winchester.

Parking this Christmas
To make your Christmas as stress free as possible Winchester is offering free parking on certain dates in the run up to Christmas.
Parking is FREE after 4pm in Winchester every Thursday from 14th November until 2nd January. Please note this only applies to the following car parks:
The Brooks, Middlebrook Street, Colebrook Street, Friarsgate, Jewry Streetm, Cossack Lane, Upper Brook, St Peters Durngate, Tower Street, Chesil St MSCP, Chesil St Surface car park.
Free Parking the week before Christmas
Parking is FREE every day after 4pm the week leading up to Christmas from Monday 16th – Friday 20th December and Monday 23rd December.
Additional Park and Ride Services
Winchester BID has funded a free extra an Park and Ride Sunday Service on Sunday 24 Nov, 1 Dec, 15 Dec & 22 Dec. The service will run from 9am until 7pm and will serve the East Car Parks (St Catherine’s & Barfield) to The Broadway only.

Should visitors wish to use a more central location to the city and all it has to offer, then we strongly suggest parking in Chesil Multi Storey long stay car park.
This is a 600 space car park located at Barfield Close, SO23 0HU, which is less than a 4 minute walk from the city centre.
Both the Park and Ride and Chesil Multi Storey are your cheapest long or short stay option for visiting Winchester.
