World of Beads has been a well-known name among the many specialist shops in Winchester for over 20 years, and is the original and only dedicated bead shop in the City. Situated in Stonemason’s Court, Parchment Street the shop is just a short walk from the High Street, in an area well-known for its variety of specialist shops.

The shop stocks an extensive range of beads and jewellery making tools, equipment and accessories. Specialising in glass beads, World of Beads holds the largest collection of Italian Murano glass beads in the South of England, which they import directly from the workshops in Venice.

Also exclusive to World of Beads is their range of handmade lampwork glass beads, which are made in their own studio here in Hampshire. The beads are individually hand crafted and can be bought as loose beads, or in an original piece of jewellery.

A collection of ready-made ‘one-off’ pieces of jewellery is always available in the shop. If you cannot see what you are looking for, it is possible to choose your beads, design your own piece and have it made up for you within a few days.
