Hotel du Vin
Our bistros offer a menu rooted in classic European cuisine, brought up to date by chefs who have trained under some of the country’s best. On the menu you will find ‘simple classics’ that change seasonally, with each chef adding their own selections and signature dishes daily, all supporting our philosophy of using the finest local produce, cooked simply and priced sensibly.
An extensive and eclectic wine list is a key feature of Hotel du Vin. In addition to the main list, including an impressive array by the glass, there is a small daily selection of good value wines chosen to complement the menu. Each hotel’s Head Sommelier is responsible for the wine cellar and is always happy to give friendly advice. Our aim is to offer interesting wines carefully selected for their quality and value. The same standards apply to our cigars, with an outstanding selection in the hotel humidors, each with a dedicated in-house cigar expert to make recommendations.

Road Directions
From London and Southampton/Bournemouth:
Leave the M3 motorway at Junction 11 (‘Winchester South’ and ‘South West’). Follow the signs to St Cross and Winchester. After approx two miles from the motorway (now Southgate Street), pass The Screen cinema on the left. Hotel du Vin is a little further down, on the left, just before a main set of traffic lights on a
T–junction.
Taking the A34:
Follow the A34 – all the way to its end and the roundabout at Winnal Industrial Estate. Take the third exit onto the M3 southbound for Southampton. Two junctions down – take junction 11 off the M3 and then follow the directions above.
Entrance to the car park is left, immediately after the hotel. Car parking spaces are to the rear of the hotel.
