The Courtyard Café and the Bean are both to be found at Winchester Guildhall, one of the city’s most distinctive buildings. Situated in the heart of the beautiful historic city very close to the King Alfred statue and only a short stroll from the famous cathedral, shops and river walks it makes them ideal places for visitors to eat.
The Courtyard Café offers visitors a range of high quality refreshments in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere whether they want a morning break, a leisurely lunch or to treat themselves to afternoon tea. An excellent selection of homemade pastries, cakes and sandwiches is available all day and from noon until 2.00 lunch is served offering dishes to suit all tastes. All food is prepared on the premises using as much local produce or Fairtrade products as possible.
The Bean is ideal for those wanting to lunch on the move or who are in need of a quick coffee fix. It has a range of coffees and other drinks ‘to-go’ and a similar selection of pastries, cakes and sandwiches as the Courtyard Café making it perfect for a picnic in the park or to stock up for an onward journey.
