Fortified medieval gateway. A debtors' prison for 150 years, with walls covered in prisoners' graffiti. Unique collection of weights and measures on display and a Tudor ceiling from Winchester College. Also armour and a gibbet. Rooftop city views. Brass rubbing and quiz. Audio introduction.
School parties by appointment.
Access: up steep stone stairs with handrail.
