Open invitation to Hampshire’s award winning hotel

Norton Park Hotel in Sutton Scotney, Winchester is celebrating winning two Awards recently. Firstly QHotels were named AA Hotel Group of the Year for 2008/2009. The announcement was made at the annual AA Centenary Awards, this year held at Grosvenor House in London and is presented to the hotel group that has demonstrated commitment to improving and developing its individual hotels, while maintaining brand consistency across the group.

Secondly, Norton Park has been accredited with the Meeting Industry Association (MIA) Silver Award. To achieve this the hotel had to demonstrate consistently high levels of customer service against standards set by the MIA. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff at the hotel and has proved that they can deliver service excellence to all their clients, many of whom are local, over and above their competitor hotels.

To celebrate the Awards, Managing Director of QHotels, Michael Purtill embarked on a 'One of a Kind' celebratory tour recently to Norton Park, aboard a giant purple party bus, to thank each and every member of staff at the hotel, many of whom live locally, personally for their hard work over the last year.

Norton Park, set in 54 acres of parkland, has completed a £14 million refurbishment programme, and is now one of the finest hotels in Hampshire, making it the ideal location for all business, leisure and event requirements.
